400g moorit from House of Wool. Cant remember which sheep breed it is.
Lovely wool. Quite a long staple and very clean, a few flicks and rolled into a rolag, and off you go!
Ended up with 3 bobbins and some left unspun.
This time the plying worked perfectly, but I was pretty bad at it – overs pun, under spun, ropey!! sigh.
Still, it is lovely 2nd skein 🙂
1/2 a bobbin was left after plying, so spun up the remainder and Navajo/chain plied it.
I think this is my fav way of plying – keeps you interested, but I am not good at starting it!
