Got a Ashford Joy 2 from Sam near Newcastle.
Lovely wheel.
I got a couple of lessons from the House of Wool up at Blackheath.

Cant remember what they said the wool was, but it is a lovely reddy brown, but fairly coarse. I flicked the ends, made some fairly dodgy rolags and spun from that. 
Other than a disastrous first attempt at plying (NO idea why, stumped Sue the teacher too) I really enjoyed this. A very lumpy, bumpy skein, but a skein 🙂
I made it into a hat for Dad, but it turned out a bit too small.
