Very light grey alpaca from the alpaca lady at Bornhofen spinning camp

Using my bamboo drop spindle from The Unusual Pear, using ply on the fly cause I’m obsessed!

It is slightly distressed by a moth attack but is still lovely and soft to spin, just a little bit sheddy.

I was using my 3D printed Snyder spindle but it broke ;( I have superglued it back together and am hoping for the best. I think I ‘drop’ all my spindles a bit too much.

I have realised that I really don’t like drop spindles – turkish spindles, especially the Synder Glider spindles are my absolute favourite.

I am now using a rather large turkish spindle I got from CarryCherry on Etsy and because it is ‘heavy’ I am getting close to a 4ply!!! This is the thickest I have spun since about 6 months after I started spinning!!!
